Appointment Scheduling
All appointments must be scheduled in advance. Same-day bookings are accepted based on location and availability. A valid credit card may be required to reserve your appointment.
Arrival & Setup
Please ensure your space is clean, quiet, and ready for the session upon arrival. The therapist will need sufficient room to set up the massage table and access an electrical outlet if equipment is used. Sessions begin once setup is complete.
Travel Radius & Fees
Palm Balance Massage proudly serves Maryland’s Eastern Shore and Anne Arundel County. Locations beyond this radius may incur an additional travel fee, which will be disclosed at the time of booking.
Health & Safety
Your health and well-being are our top priority. If you are feeling unwell, have a contagious condition, or are experiencing symptoms such as fever, rash, or cough, please reschedule your session. The therapist reserves the right to decline service if health or hygiene concerns are present.
Professional Boundaries
Palm Balance Massage provides strictly professional, therapeutic massage services. Any inappropriate behavior, language, or requests will result in the immediate termination of the session, full payment will still apply, and future appointments will be denied.
Payment Policy
Payment is due at the time of scheduling. Accepted forms include credit/debit cards, or approved digital payments. Gratuity is never expected but always appreciated.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Each appointment includes dedicated travel and setup time reserved exclusively for you. To respect this commitment and ensure fairness to all clients, at least 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Same-day cancellations, no-shows, or situations where the therapist arrives and is unable to begin the session (e.g., client not home, unsafe environment) will be charged the full service amount.
Late starts due to client delay may shorten the session to maintain the schedule, while the full fee still applies.
We understand emergencies can occur, and exceptions may be made at our discretion.
Be Ready for Your Mobile Massage
If you are not ready at your scheduled appointment time, your session may be shortened to avoid delays for other clients. The full service fee will still apply.
Weather & Safety Policy
Appointments may be rescheduled in the event of severe weather, hazardous road conditions, or other safety concerns. The therapist will contact you as soon as possible to make alternative arrangements.
Confidentiality
All client information, health history, and session notes are kept strictly confidential and will not be shared without your written consent, except as required by law.
Massage Intake Form
All clients are required to complete a brief health intake form before their session. This allows the therapist to customize your treatment safely and effectively to your specific needs.
Pet Safety Policy
To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for both clients and therapists, please secure pets in a separate room or area during your appointment. This helps prevent distractions, accidental injuries, or interference with your session.
